#LittleRockersKidsMarathon
The Little Rockers Kids Marathon gives children in 1st through 6th grades the opportunity to complete a marathon over an extended period of time. Using the Little Rockers Kids Marathon Training Program, participants complete at least 25.2 miles prior to race day by running, jogging, or walking.
Kids have several months to log their miles on their own or through their school if they are officially participating in the program. On race day, all participants complete their marathon by running the final mile of the official Little Rock Marathon course and crossing the finish line just like the marathon runners.
The mission of the Little Rockers Kids Marathon is to give children the opportunity to increase their physical activity while working toward an achievable goal. Through this program, we hope to motivate kids to develop healthy habits, stay active, and experience the rewards that come from setting a goal and accomplishing it—not just at the finish line, but throughout life.
